Thanks Fiona! We need to keep an eye on the dog meat industry as a restaurant in the US was recently allowed to sell it! What happens to all animals treated as food is terrifying but we do have a chance to stop the dog meat trade in North America at least.

So very glad this little one life was spared! To me it is heartbreaking what happens to dogs in different parts of the world. Dogs are such wonderful, dear, loving friends! Thank you for adopting her and giving her love & care. I truly love this picture, so sorry for your loss, I know how hard it when we have to say good-bye. Congrats on your sale, Twyla.

Thanks Deborah! We miss our wee troublemaker every day. This is my favourite of my paintings so far - even though the message and her loss is painful. She was so beautiful. It was impossible to see her as food.
